St. Joseph's Home Dementia Wing

St. Joseph’s Home of Springfield required a new Dementia Wing Addition to their existing care facility. The new wing would serve to house and care for new dementia residents. The project consisted of a new addition to include site work, concrete foundations, structural steel framing, masonry exterior, doors and windows, new resident rooms, laundry facilities, kitchen areas, roofing, flooring, new electrical and mechanical systems. Project also included a new parking lot, courtyard and screened-in porches and drive-through canopy. GHR provided complete MEP-FP design services and construction administration for this project.
Clark Lindsey Villas
Urbana, Illinois
These beautiful homes are located along the northeastern part of Clark-Lindsey’s campus along the edge of Meadowbrook Park. The development, appropriately named Meadows Edge at Clark-Lindsey, offers three different floor plans. This Villa-style type of home is perfect for the busy retiree who wants to trade up from the maintenance and ownership of a traditional house. GHR worked alongside developers, architects and builders to offer custom designs for practically each of twelve villas. Each villa included minimal emergency power, geothermal HVAC, and a fire protection system.
Swann Special Care Center
Champaign, Illinois
This new addition to the existing special care facility provides its residents with a new classroom wing, and lounge area. GHR is providing the MEP design with new LED lighting, and HVAC systems.
Clark Lindsey Wellness Pool
Urbana, Illinois
Construction is currently underway on the Clark-Lindsey Wellness Center, which is expected to open in January of 2017. This facility will greatly enhance the fitness amenities of the campus. The complex will include an expanded fitness center and a therapy gym four times the size of their current therapy space. The pool space includes an impressive water surface area of 25×46 feet; convenient and comfortable changing rooms for Wellness Center patrons; accessible showers and restroom fixtures; and a newly remodeled space for aerobic and weight training exercise using state-of-the-art equipment. GHR performed complete MEP-FP duties on this project taking special care that our designs meet the stringent requirements of the unique pool environment.
